GökTürk is a surveillance satellite for the turkish army.
DSI designed and developed the satellite primary on-board TM-TC formatting / ciphering / deciphering unit which performs TC data decryption in the S-Band, TM data encryption in the X-Band and Secure Telecommand processing. The unit supports multiple X-Band TM channels. Additionally, DSI is developing the ground backup deciphering/ciphering unit.
