TET-1

TET-1 satellite was built by Kayser-Threde (now OHB System AG) within the frame of DLR's OOV program. The main aim of this program is to test new space technologies in a space environment over a period of one year. The satellite carries eleven payloads, each representing an independent experiment.

DSI designed and developed the Processor Unit as well as the Digital Input Output (DIO)/ Remote Interface Unit of the payload controller system, which provides several different interfaces. Those units coordinate the communication and data transfer from the payload modules with the DIO module interfacing the processor module to the payloads.
